FAQ’s
Is there downtime? If so, how much?
The hydrating facial does not have any downtime, it is a very gentle treatment. With any facial it is best to follow aftercare (listed above) and let me know if you have any questions.
I have VERY sensitive skin, how can I be sure I won’t have a reaction?
For those with extremely sensitive skin: We will cover any questions or concerns during your first visit. If you have any known allergens or skin sensitivities let me know. During your facial I will ask you how your skin is feeling each time I apply a new product. If something doesn’t feel right, if it burns or is uncomfortable let me know and we will remove the product and adjust the treatment. Certain products are meant to create a heat sensation (such as enzyme peels), but I will always let you know what to expect.
What type of add ons do you recommend for this treatment?
Dermaplaning is one of my favorites because it helps products penetrate deeper and gives your skin a smooth base for makeup. If you have very sensitive skin or acne it may not be for you, but we can always discuss this in your visit.
I also love cupping if you want to really sculpt the face and improve skin tone and circulation. It’s my favorite thing to do on myself because I get very puffy, so cupping helps my face look more awake and lifted.
