Yes! But only if you commit to it. This program has a 90% success rate in getting you clearer skin in 3 months and keeping you clear for good. A big reason for this is the holistic approach to clearing skin where we focus on a variety of factors from dietary acne triggers, root causes of acne, pore clogging ingredients, lifestyle habits, skincare to support the clearing process, and more! I have seen this work time and time again for people who have struggled for years and tried everything (even Accutane, birth control, dermatologist visits, lasers, etc.) and it works while maintaining overall skin health and not over-drying the skin.

Clear skin is the best investment you can make, but it doesn’t have to cost you a fortune!
Average cost of the skincare routine is $190 - $220 (full skincare routine, start to finish).
Cost of treatments for Acne Facials is $95 each, (only $570 for the first 3 months when doing biweekly treatments!).

While most clients start to see results within a couple weeks, the program itself is proven to give you clearer skin in 90 days!
Results also depend on the client’s commitment to their home care routines and treatment schedule, as well as how severe their acne is.
It’s important to note that the skin can go through periods of regression due to season changes, lifestyle changes and stress, but I assure you I’ll be here to support you every step of the way, and adjust your treatment as needed to make sure you achieve the skin of your dreams.

Acne treatment with me can be catered to many types of clients, as well as any skin tone and type of acne. The peels used in treatment are safe even for the darkest skin tones, and can be modified for clients who are pregnant or nursing.
The only people I have seen that don’t benefit are those who have an extremely hard time being consistent with their skincare routine, and are unable to follow through with visits or post treatment instructions. Clients need to be able to follow through with recommendations, and wear their sunscreen daily (as not to cause more damage due to increased sun sensitivity with treatments).
This program is also not for those who are currently on Accutane, or have been on Accutane within the last 6 months, or those currently on prescriptions that make the skin sensitive to sunlight and plan on staying on those medications. My goal is to get clear skin without the use of prescription medication. Those currently using Tretinoin should also be aware that you may need to stop use for a period of time.

Accutane is not a cure for acne, it is a band-aid approach to clearing acne and can cause more harm than good. Many people, my clients included, that go on Accutane will do multiple rounds just for their acne to come back when they go off of it. Accutane also has very harmful side effects like damage to internal organs, extremely dry skin, rash, vision problems, depression, mental confusion, suicidal ideation, and much more.
Spironolactone and antibiobics are also band-aid approaches that are not always able to be used long term, and can cause more harm than good. Antibiotics specifically act by killing off ALL bacteria (even the good ones that we need) and can lead to rash, irritation, yeast overgrowth, fungal acne, and antibiotic resistance that are more difficult to treat than acne alone.

"I have struggled with cystic acne since I was in middle school. It got worse this year with the stress of wedding planning and my final year of grad school. Over the last two months, Cedar has helped me so much in getting my skin wedding day ready. I am so thankful for her and cannot recommend her enough! My only wish is I had started going to her sooner!!"

"Just wanted to say THANK YOU. I think today I'm actually not self conscious of my skin. It's such a huge difference from when we started."

Pore-clogging ingredient checker
Say goodbye to breakouts with the ultimate checklist of pore-clogging ingredients! This simple guide helps you identify potential acne-causing culprits hidden in skincare, haircare, makeup, sunscreens, and even laundry detergents. By checking your products, you can make informed choices and prevent breakouts before they start.
Here's how to check your products for pore-clogging ingredients! Remember, "clean" and "organic" do NOT mean acne-safe; organic coconut oil = organic pimples. Clearstem created a pore-clogging ingredient checker to help you quickly spot acne-causing ingredients. Just follow the link, copy and paste the product’s full ingredient list into the scanner, then cross-check it with the master list below!
Acne Treatment from the Inside Out…
As a holistic esthetician and acne specialist, I believe acne is influenced by internal factors as well as topical skincare. Hormonal imbalances, food allergies and sensitivities, and underlying health issues can all trigger acne breakouts, so it’s important to address these in addition to what I can do with skincare products and acne treatment facials.
Dr. Sheryl Wagner at Heal Here Now (located conveniently in Vancouver, WA in the same building as Skin by Cedar Avery) is a holistic naturopathic doctor who specializes in treating chronic health issues, hormonal imbalances, and food allergies and sensitivities that can cause acne and breakouts.
